Beautiful early Paul Weyersburg 2nd Pattern Luftaffe Dagger with logo. Wonderful DESIRABLE Pumpkin Celluloid grip with double twist aluminum wire intact. Aluminum pommel and cross gaurd crisp with bold detail. Balde is brilliant with Paul Weyersberg logo with desirable stick eagle #5 acceptance mark. This is found on very few early 2nd pattern luftwaffe daggers. Nice tip with crisp edges and very light runner matks. Scabbard shell shows age patina with no dents. Typical weyersberg hanger fittings and rings intact. Overall dagger rates Very Good + and a fine example. Portapee and hangers are original to our acquiring item . both have wear from age and use.
