M33 SS Dagger by Bowker
M33 SS Dagger by Bowker!!! This dagger displays an early tree logo on the ricasso. The blade depicts the correct acid etching. It has a nice point and crisp edges, however, it does show aging from moisture. Light drag marks from the scabbard are present, see photos. The cross guards are nickle and the lower has a district "I" stamp. Both cross guards show an original, untouched patina. The ebony grip shows the approptiate signs of being worn. There is a minor chip on the front upper right by the cross guard and also a hairline crack at the 11 O'clock position above the roundel. The roundel and nickle eagle show the correct patina for the item. The pommel nut is secure and tight. The scabbard is an older repaint that retains 98% finish. It does have some small specks of finish loss from handling and time. It retains all four screws with the correct upper and lower nickle fittings. The ball on the drag has a dent. The suspension ring retains 90% finish and shows markings from a suspension clip. An overall correct period dagger that displays well! The blade rates at good+, an honest dolce!
